Our preparation for transport service ensures your mast and spars leave us with the best possible protection for their journey:
- Carefully dismantle and remove the standing rigging, coil and label each item before stowing it safely aboard
- Remove mast head units, carefully stow on board
- Wrap the furling foil every 2 metres with protection to prevent scuffing against the mast
- Masts are wrapped in cling film for long or inclement journeys – though we recommend immediate removal on arrival to avoid corrosion
